Old proverbs say: "The merchant has his own price, the buyer has another." "My request, your submission", that is, when buying any product, the seller and the buyer certainly bargained, considering this not only their right, but also their duty. They started bidding, as a rule, with the seller setting an excessively high price, and the buyer setting a very low price, and they traded until they agreed on the price that seemed reasonable to both. However, there is a version that the expression "similar price" appeared due to the fact that the merchant called the last price acceptable to the buyer when he was already leaving. In the former county and provincial cities, shopping malls were built in the middle of the main square, and shops were always placed above ground level so that there was no dampness in them, so customers, entering the store, went up, and leaving, went down the steps under the calls of the seller to return and get, well, a good price, with a concession, for a good thing. It was this last price for the outgoing buyer that they began to call similar.
