The "Quiet Life of a Monastery" series is inspired by the monastery located near my home and is based on real-life observations of life within its walls. Bells ring through the monastery courtyards, birds roam the grounds, and the nuns follow a calm rhythm of daily life. Through these scenes, the illustrations reveal a secluded world where people, animals, and nature coexist in an atmosphere of contemplation, patience, and silence.
