The design of Pollyanna, in accordance with the technical requirements, should match the already existing series by the MIF publishing house “Illustrated Classics for Children”.

The first illustration depicts a scene from the book where Pollyanna feels very hot on a summer night in her attic room, as her aunt has forbidden her to open the window. The girl climbs onto the flat canopy of the veranda, makes a sleeping place out of covers with clothes, and falls asleep in the fresh air. At that time, the worried aunt, fearing that thieves were tramping on the roof, called the gardener and his son for help. That’s how the adults found Pollyanna, who was sleeping peacefully. On the aunt’s face, we see not so much surprise or fear as shame for her own behavior and pity for her niece.
