As stated in my profile, I also embroider.
Working with small elements is akin to meditation, but... This does not negate the fact that this is also work. Although it seems to many that embroidery is a fairly simple activity, but this is only until they try to sit for several hours without unbending, straining their eyes and pricking a couple of fingers.

But, all working moments are nothing compared to the moment when the result becomes visible. And if you get praise...
