This artwork is inspired by my current period of life and the feelings it evokes. It reflects my attempts to understand the way this world works, to try to fit in. The art came out of me on its own, created after coming home from the office. And it shows how I felt while working in schedule 5/2. The circular composition of the artwork draws the viewer deeper and deeper into the illustration, just like that schedule was devouring me.
I also used mixed media here, combined sketching and collage, overlay modes, textures and even distorted typography which broadened the experience and the emotional effect of the drawing.
